After that, it is required to install the frame, which, in fact, the team does. And then mount the drywall on it. Whole sheets of plasterboard (GPB) are attached perpendicular to the long guide profiles.
The joining of the sheets is carried out in the middle of the profiles. To ensure the quality of the fixing of the drywall boards to the profiles, the workers usually perform this task in pairs. Sheets are connected to the profile with self-drilling screws, and screws need to go a little deeper (recessed) in the GPB - literally 2-3 millimeters. The gap between the fasteners is approximately 25-30 cm, and from the corners of the drywall — 3-4 cm. Also, the indentation from the edge of the drywall to the place of screwing in screws must be observed — one and a half centimeters. The formation of chips on the edge of the sheet is prohibited. If this does happen, the screw is removed and a new one is screwed in next to it (3-4 cm from the place of chipping).
